Exhibitors and sponsors include anyone:

PLRB collects your name, contact details, and professional credentials for purposes of the booth or sponsor contracting and providing association event services. PLRB also uses this information to prepare marketing materials for members, event attendees, and others. PLRB also collects audio and visuals from the event.

Business records are kept for seven years. Promotional materials are archived for historical purposes. Contracts are kept for the duration of the statute of limitations. Past customer records are kept for the end of the relationship plus seven years. Credit card details are not saved by PLRB and are processed by a reputable credit card service though secure channels.

How We Share Your Information

PLRB does not sell your contact information to others to use for their marketing purposes.

PLRB shares your information with local fire marshals where required. PLRB shares your name with the designated event decorator, shipping company, and lead retrieval service provider. PLRB shares your information with outside professional design teams and printers to develop marketing materials. PLRB shares your information with the conference app design and implementation team so that they can make it available for the event to others.

PLRB may share your information confidentially with hotel staff for the sole purpose of auditing room block commitments.

PLRB shares event audio-video materials on social media and on marketing materials.

Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing

The legal basis PLRB relies on to process your personal data to provide most services is GDPR article 6(1)(b) contract. PLRB also relies up article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, which allows us to process personal data when its necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests. However, some of the processing is based on legal requirements for CE accreditation, GDPR, Article 6(1)(c).

Your Rights

You have rights of access, rectification, restriction, and objection. PLRB provides self-help user portals which allow you to opt out of newsletters and publications and update all of your contact and professional information as well as view any information collected and stored about you.
