Making Changes or Opting Out

PLRB provides member visitors, registrants, and event participants with the ability to change their information (e.g., name, address, phone number, password, subscriptions, etc.) that we maintain about them. Member visitors can change their profileson line. (http://www.plrb.org/profile/).

PLRB publishes various e-mail newsletters and publications. Each newsletter or publication includes specific instructions for removing your e-mail address from the mailing list. You can also remove your name from certain mailing lists bychanging your profileon line. (http://www.plrb.org/profile/). E-Commerce

The PLRB sites use forms for individuals to request information and services and to register for events. PLRB collects each visitor's contact information and method of payment. Contact information from the order form is used to process orders or registrations. User payment information that is collected is used to check the user's qualifications and bill the user for products and services. Users should not send credit card information to PLRB. Credit card payments should be done using secure connections to payment providers

Security

PLRB takes security seriously. This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control.

Children's Guidelines

We at the PLRB are concerned about protecting children's privacy. PLRB does not collect information for or about children. None should be provided.

The only exception is for the collection of information of minor dependents of PLRB employees or volunteers for purposes of providing employee benefits or staff functions. PLRB will only collect information to facilitate requirements of such providers or for a company event. Such data will be collected, transferred, and stored securely. Data will be retained according to the retention schedule.
