The PLRB Insurance Services Expo will feature over 300 claim service providers. Joining the Expo as a first-time exhibitor is the Alacrity Services LLC of Eugene, Oregon.
The Expo will be held April 18 and 19 at the Henry B. Conzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas. The Expo is part of the Property & Liability Resource Bureau's Claims Conference, April 17 to 20.
Alacrity Services combines a national network of independent, credential contractors with specialized software and services to streamline repairs, reduce unnecessary costs and improve client satisfaction. Recent developments include tools to provide mitigation contractors with real-time data used to set drying plans consistent with IICRC standards, and a mitigation estimate desk audit program.
The Insurance Services Expo will connect over 4,000 Claims Conference attendees with claims service providers that offer expertise in disciplines ranging from accident scene investigation to weather reporting services. It is open to all attendees on Monday, April 18 and Tuesday, April 19.
The exhibitors offer services locally and nationally. "The role of a claim service provider is often crucial to helping the policyholder recover following a loss," said Scott Powell, Vice President, Educational and Technical Services, PLRB. "A policyholder typically has little experience in managing a crisis situation, such as finding housing after a wind storm loss or replacing the family's possessions after a fire. Firms at the Expo can provide those services to help the policyholder get back to normal."
About 90% of the available booths have been reserved. Space is still available. Information is available online at http://www.plrbclaimsconference.org/ and click on "Exhibits." The list of registered exhibitors and the floor plan at the Gonzales Convention Center is available there.
The Property & Liability Resource Bureau is a not-for-profit association of property and casualty insurance companies. It is located in Downers Grove, Illinois.
