Over 100 professional development sessions, most of them with adjuster continuing education credit, will be available for property and casualty adjusters at the 2016 Claims Conference in San Antonio, April 17 to 20. Adjusters will be able to choose from a wide variety of educational sessions at the conference, which will be held in the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center.
The Claims Conference is hosted annually each spring by the Property & Liability Resource Bureau of Downers Grove, Illinois.
The breakout sessions are taught by insurance industry experts and cover a variety of challenges from coverage to investigation, from evaluation to resolution that confront adjusters and claim managers daily.
One of the Property claims sessions offered is "Agricultural Coverages and Adjustments," presented by Anthony Flynn, CIH, PE, Senior Forensic Consultant, BSC Forensic Services, Rosenburg, Texas; and Tom Powell, President, BPO Technical Services, Hempstead, Texas.
Participants in the session will review coverage for common agricultural policies, evaluate coverage for unique items and manuscript policies, examine critical elements such as developing a period of restoration and replacement of like kind and quality, and at the end of the session be able to describe the unique exposures and claim scenarios with chicken and pork claims.

Insurance Services Expo
The nation's large Insurance Services Expo will also be part of the 2016 Claims Conference. It will feature nearly 300 exhibitors that provide a huge array of claim products and services. The Expo will be held Monday, April 18 and Tuesday, April 19, at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center.
