The Property & Liability Resource Bureau is soliciting proposals for workshops to be presented at the 2017 Large Loss Conference. Submissions are due by Monday, December 5, 2016. They should be sent to the PLRB at
Each PLRB Large Loss Conference workshop will critically examine the issues of one particular claim and focus on the life and challenges of that claim scenario. The co-presenter subject matter experts should be involved as they play important roles in the claim. Each session is two hours in length, and the workshops are delivered twice during the conference.

The presentation must follow the life and challenges of a particular "virtual" claim. It should focus on the issues faced during the initial, the middle, and the closing portion of the claim.
The claims adjuster, supervisor, manager who is the presenter should lead each session. Adjusters may be either staff or independent adjusters.
The 2017 Large Loss Conference Planning Committee will review all presentation submissions. It will assist the PLRB staff in selecting the very best workshops for the conference. The PLRB will announce the selected workshops and the presenters in the first quarter of 2017.
The PLRB Large Loss Conference attendees are sophisticated and experienced property and casualty claims professionals. They attend the conference to learn about new and better ways of adjusting losses of $100,000 and more.
