Adjuster CE, Continuing Legal Education, RPA, & CPCU
Continuing education credit has been approved for the Property & Liability Resource Bureau's 2016 Large Loss Conference.
Florida Department of Financial Services has approved the Conference for up to ten hours of adjuster option credit. The Department has designated the Conference sessions as intermediate level, intended for the student who has a basic knowledge with the subject matter, or who has limited experience with the subject matter.
The 15 approved workshops can earn two hours each for CE 3-24c - Adjusters Optional. In order to receive credit the students must attend the full two-hour workshop to receive full credit for the session, as well as obtain the presenters' signatures for each workshop attended. Partial credit is available. It is not necessary to attend workshops in all five time periods to received credit.
Not approved for CE credit is Anatomy of a Building Collapse.
Oklahoma & Texas
The Departments of Insurance in Oklahoma and Texas have approved 15 workshops for two hours of general credit.
Texas has approved Navigating the Counsel Retention/Payment Minefield in High Exposure Cases for 0.5 hours of ethics credit, as well as 1.5 hours of general credit for adjusters. The remaining 14 workshops are approved for two hours of general credit.
Not approved by either DOI is Anatomy of a Building Collapse.
The North Carolina Department of Insurance has approved the Conference for six hours of North Carolina General Insurance credit for Wednesday, October 5. On Thursday, October 6, the DOI has approved four hours of North Carolina General Insurance credit.
Students must attend a full day of sessions, and each session in its entirety, in order to receive credit for each day.
Partial credit is not available.
Charter Property Casualty Underwriter
Insurance professionals with the CPCU designation will be awarded ten points under the Continuing Professional Development program.
Society of Registered Professional Adjusters
The RPA will award up to ten continuing education credits for the successful completion of the Conference. Submission forms that acknowledge RPA certified adjusters are trustworthy, ethical, and professional will be available online at www.rpa-adjuster.com for Conference attendees.
