Martha Fitt Joins PLRB as Education Counsel

The newest member of the PLRB Distance Learning Module team is Martha Fitt, JD, who joined the Property & Liability Resource Bureau in June.

Fitt will be responsible for researching, designing, writing, and publishing PLRB Distance Learning Modules on property and casualty claims topics. In addition, she will produce webinars in coordination with subject-matter experts and draft technical articles for in-house publications.
Prior to joining the PLRB, she worked in the trade show industry, designing and implementing web applications.
A licensed attorney, Fitt received her JD and certificate in Intellectual Property from DePaul University, Chicago, after transitioning from a Masters Program in Computer Science Technology. She received a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Film/Photography/Electronic Media from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Fitt has received several legal writing awards, including three Center of Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction (CALI) Excellence for the Future Awards, and the Robert and Clytia Chambers Award in Patent Law.
The Property & Liability Resource Bureau is a not-for-profit association of property and casualty insurance companies. It is located in Downers Grove, Illinois.
